Palladium

Palladium—a metal with properties similar to platinum—is also considered by many to be a precious metal. Palladium is a lustrous silvery white metal. It’s been used in jewelry since the 1930s, but has caught on with consumers only recently. As of January 2010, the hallmarking of palladium became compulsory in Britain with 50, 95, or 99.9 percent purity.
